  2. The Buddha seems content in winter cold and summer warmth - so serene in his inner musings. I was just looking through a book of Sargent's paintings in Italy - he loved to paint statues and was masterful as depicting the light across their varied surfaces. I think you are following in his footsteps, Michael!

Thank you so very much for stopping by and leaving such wonderful words!
"Serene" certainly is the word! Imagine me being in the same sentence as my art buddy, Sargent! Many great Sargent works on display at MFA for me to check out often!
      You are so kind!

    2. Kings vs. Bruins would be great.
If so may the best team win.

    3. Good morning David!
No Kings vs. Bruins this year! Just heard Chicago beat LA last night. Maybe another time. It would have been fun!
      Keep on painting buddy!

  7. Hi Michael,
Love the light and shadows you have captured on your little Buddha. He emanates a lovely serenity come snow or shine! It's great to see the contrasts in seasons. The blankets of snow you had over winter looked so magical. It looks like you are having lovely warm weather now!
Great to see how prolific you are Michael!
    Happy painting!

    1. Hello Mate!
I am so happy to hear from you Wendy! I am glad you like my little Buddha painting! Every day I check him out in my little garden and thought someday I would paint him. Glad I finally did!
You are right! The seasonal changes are amazing. I love them all! Don't really have a favorite! Well maybe I do have a favorite...fall, winter, spring, summer!
Yes, warmer weather and plenty of rain. Our first tropical storm of the season! Almost five inches of rain! Good for the vegetation!
      Happy painting to you Wendy!
