"Plein - Air Santa!"

 "Plein - Air Santa!"
I woke up this Christmas morning to a bit of a  white Christmas and the jolly "older" elf plein-air painting!

But seriously it wasn't the real Santa, it was me!

Happiest of Holidays to all my great art blog buddies!
Thank you so much for so much!

  1. OMG this is fantastic! I like how Santa painted the tree without ornaments--or is this "in progress"? lol! Santa looks like he lost a few pounds since I saw him last. Must be all the toy-delivery-and plein air painting combined is burning calories. Anyway...he looks great out there on Christmas at his easel. Delightful!--Merry Christmas, Michael!

    1. Ho! Ho! Happy Birthday Celeste!
You are very observant! The tree, like Santa, is a work in progress! Santa, like most of us, is trying to lose a few pounds! Five minute into Santa's photo shoot it started to rain! Of course Santa had some drips in his painting! Very much like his buddy Michael's work!
      Thanks for dropping by Celeste!
      Happy Painting!

  11. Thank you for stopping by Hilda! I am so happy you enjoyed seeing Santa at work. When I was a teacher I used to dress up as Santa for the students. I even ran in local road races dressed as the jolly old elf!
It is good we can laugh!
You and your wonderful family have the best New Year ever!
    Peace and Art on!
