"Red Hibiscus" Watercolor 16" x 14"

How can anyone not love hibiscus flowers!  This is the first watercolor I have done in a very long time.   I may do more.  Enjoy the rest of the summer.
Peace.

  1. Well so watercolor was like riding a bike, you always remember how to do it. and you did it very well. This is an outstanding rendition of hibiscus. You really did get those flowers down as they are: gorgeous. Now if only the leaves weren't so finicky with every little shift in the weather! I'm thinking of bringing my plants in. They seem to like it so much better in the house.

  2. Thank you very much Linda! Your visits and comments always make my day.
I agree with you about the plants. Sad to see my sunflowers start to wilt? However I do very much enjoy the fall in New England. Plenty of new vibrant colors to enjoy. Especially the many cranberry bogs near my home.
    Keep on painting and posting.
    Take care.
