"Independence Harbor Massachusetts" Watercolor 10" x 14"

My college buddy owns a beautiful wedding function hall called Independence Harbor on the south coast of Massachusetts in a little village called Assonet.
I painted this watercolor as a gift.

  1. Your watercolors are wonderful! I love the Hibiscus one too. I love the loose translucent quality. I used to do a lot of watercolor too. You are tempting me to get them out again! Thank-you for your great comment on my blog. Love your work! I'll be back to see what you're up to: )

  2. Thank you so very much Laurel. Thanks for visiting and thank you for the wonderful comments! Your visit made my day. I am also looking forward to checking out your wonderful work on a daily basis.
    Keep on making art!
    Your new art buddy,

  3. Excellent Michael!
Doing watercolors as of late I see.
I do like the immediacy of watercolor... walk up and paint, oils are a bit more work just to get started, a lot of getting ready to get started...

I'm sure your buddy was thrilled, nice work, and so different than most of the oils you do, I like to see variety!

    Keep painting...

    1. Hello David!
Thank you for dropping by and writing such kind words.
My friend did appreciate the gift and he hung it immediately in a prominent place for all to see.
      Keep painting is right!

  4. What a wonderful gift. The work of self is a great gift. I'm sure you've done to your heart.
    Your friend in Spain
    Keep painting..

  5. Hola Ricardo!
    Muchos gracias!
As always, it is very good to hear from you. When I see your name on the screen I am very happy.
Your words are always very kind and meaningful to me. Thank you!
You are right. I always paint from my heart and soul. For me that is what art is all about.
    We will all keep painting!
    Spain Forever!
    Your USA art friend,
