"Something Different For Me" "School Portrait" Acrylic Canvas 5" x 7"

Just found out a very good friend of mine is retiring. She was a Massachusetts Pubic School teacher for thirty-five years.  I decided to do a little portrait of her school as a retirement gift. I have never done a "school portrait" before.  I hope she likes it.

  1. It sure is something different for you. It is something very sweet that you've painted. I think she'll love it. Very generous. Very caring.

    1. Linda,
Thanks for visiting and as always leaving very supportive comments.
Next week I will be giving my friend the painting.
      Take care.

  3. I bet your friend likes your painting. It's a beautiful picture. Most important is the enthusiasm that is in the paint. I like to enjoy painting. It is very important to convey enthusiasm. You do it.
    A greeting.

  5. Ciao,
    Ciao, ciao, Floriana

  7. I went to the retirement party and gave my friend her "School Portrait" gift. She loved it! later she told me that besides being a teacher at this school this was the first school she attended when she arrived in America from Portugal many years ago when she was a little girl. Nice.
    Take care everyone.
