"Cranberry Bog"
Acrylic Canvas 24" x 30"
"Another Cranberry Bog"
Watercolor 14" x 20"
I love to paint for many, many reasons. One reason is the fun and joy of creating something unique.
When I start out with a vague idea and not know exactly where I am going with a work I seem to get the most joy and the best results
Happy Autumn!
Michael
I love the color of the cranberry bogs, and you make them look even better. I'm missing the Cape. I need to get up there sometime soon. It has been much too long.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Joan!
DeleteAs always, thank you for visiting and leaving wonderful comments!
I am very lucky to live near many cranberry bogs and small New England farms so I get a chance to check them out on a daily basis! Right now, during the cranberry harvest, the red colors are amazing. Especially against the blue water used to flood the bogs.
Again, thank you so much for writing that I "make them look even better!" Made my day.
Keep painting my friend.
MIchael
Ciao Michael,
Caio My Dear Fine Italian Artist and Friend!
DeleteI apologize that I do not speak Italian. I love language and need to find time to study Italian. I do speak very, very little Italian, a little Spanish, and some Portuguese! I think the Italian language is beautiful!
So far Google is doing an excellent job of translating Italian to English! So I thank you very, very much for your wonderful and kind words. It is very reassuring as an artist to have someone appreciate my artistic efforts and even understand them. So, Grazie molto, molto mio caro amico!
Abracci doll vostro buon amico,
Michael
Keep painting your wonderful pictures.
Rileggendo vedo due errori: "e non sai come vai a finire" e "ho scritto anch'io in un post qualcosa di simile"
ReplyDeleteCiao
How interesting to see two interpretations of the same subject in two different mediums. Viva la difference!
ReplyDeleteHello Shirley!
DeleteThank you so much for dropping by and leaving a comment. Always happy to hear from you!
It was a very interesting experience! Same scene, two different mediums, and two exciting art adventures for me. I love both acrylics and watercolors for many reasons.
Happy Halloween!
Michael
Love that red....it is zesty!
ReplyDeleteHi Celeste!
DeleteThanks for dropping by again! Always nice to hear from you!
Zesty is a fantastic description! Thank you so much. I was so happy when the reds I wanted began to appear without too much struggle! One of the joys of painting!
I am glad you like the red! Me too!
Thanks again!
Boo!
Michael
