It's always a nice feeling to finish. Once you sign a painting, do you ever go back to it? I always say once I sign it, I'm finished; but, many times I regret that - ha.
Hi Kim, Thanks for dropping by. I know exactly what you mean. I have signed paintings, framed them, hung them up and still I have gone back to them to do more. One of my challenges and thrills when I paint is to not know when I am finished. I usually stop when I feel like it. Sometimes I go back to a painting years later to do some work on itI never "push" a work. My paintings almost always dictate to me where they want to go and when they are finished. I like the feel of this one!!! Great job on the lighthouses below. I didn't realize it had been National Lighthouse Day...funny but I just posted one. Each one has such character.
