Heavy amounts of snow on roofs causing very dangerous situations in Massachusetts! Many roofs have already collapsed due to the weight of the snow! Photo of our house with workers shoveling snow off our roof! Still love the snow but also so aware of its dangers and problems! |
Fun painting of the snow, Michael. Glad you are getting the weight of it off your roof. People forget how heavy it can be. I know my BIL in Maine has a roof rake...and has been using it this year! Stay warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joan! I am glad you like my snow painting! I simply let myself go on this one! Wanted to get the feeling of a snowstorm! Roof raking and shoveling roofs has been the way to go last few weeks!!!! More snow! And more snow!
DeleteWarm and safe! Certainly! Thanks Joan!
I read today on a couple of blogs that spring has been sighted. I hope you can write the post the same message very soon. Your snow painting will go down in infamy. What a winter we're having! Stay warm. Stay safe. Stay home. How lucky we are to have our painting to ward off cabin fever.

Hi, Michael - I saw a story on the news about the heavy snow on rooftops in the Boston area - so glad you are having the weight removed from yours. We experienced a few full on blizzards when living in Toronto and your Snow painting most definitely reminds me of those times! It is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHello Susan!!!!! So happy to get the snow of our roof! Even today had to rake more off! Heavy snow on roofs in our area have caused quite a few problems! Especially old barns! Horses have been trapped! So sad! More snow last night and more coming this week!
DeleteI would love to visit Toronto!
Oh, do you still want some of our snow!!!
Michael
I have read about this in the news and am happy to see you are taking precautions to get all the weight off of your roof. It is a lucky thing you have your art with all this time indoors. Incredible work Michael!! Stay well, warm and keep painting!
ReplyDeleteCiao Celia!!!! I love making art in my little studio as I look out at a most beautiful winter wonderland! Even today while looking at all the birds frolicking in the snow I started to plan a painting of a huge tree, covered in snow with so many varied and colorful birds enjoying the snow!
DeleteYou are right getting the snow off roofs so very important!
Michael
Beautiful painting and beautiful photo Michael!! Having to worry about the weight of snow on your roof is certainly something I had never thought about before! How snow's prettiness belies its dangers!! It makes for a good painting subject too!
ReplyDeleteKeep safe and warm!
Thanks Wendy! I am sorry you have to imagine our wonderful snow being so dangerous! I often think of you when all the snow happenings that I consider quite every day must be so foreign to you! Almost surreal! That even adds more to my love of the snow! I am sure you would so enjoy so much about snow! It is everywhere! You not experiencing it Wendy makes me appreciate it even more! For you buddy! Most of my friends are amazed that I still love it! I hope you can imagine your entire neighborhood completely covered in the most beautiful white cold magic! Everywhere!!! It is magical to me! Snow mounds surrounding homes and streets more than ten feet high! I also love shoveling snow! It is such a great workout! Get so hungry!! Especially for hot thick hearty soup and chunks of warm bread! Mmmmm! Then ending the day with a good book by a roaring fireplace! Maybe add some warm chocolate chip cookies! Ahhh! I will post more photos soon Mate! Take care!

I want someone here suffering from any disease to heal from my story after Hiv disease for the last 3 years and having hard to eat and cough are nightmares, especially the first year. At this stage, the immune system is severely weakened, and the risk of contracting opportunistic infections is much greater. However, not everyone with HIV will go on to develop AIDS. The earlier you receive treatment, the better your outcome will be.I started taking ARV to avoid early death but I had faith in God that i would be healed someday. As a Hiv patient we are advise to be taking antiretroviral treatments to reduce our chance of transmitting the virus to others , few weeks ago i came on search on the internet if i could get any information on Hiv treatment with herbal medicine, on my search i saw a testimony of someone who has been healed from Hiv her name was Achima Abelard and other Herpes Virus patient Tasha Moore also giving testimony about this same man,Called Dr Itua Herbal treatment.I was moved by the testimony and i contacted him by his Email.drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com/ www.drituaherbalcenter.com. We chatted and he send me a bottle of herbal medicine I drank it as he instructed me to.After drinking it he ask me to go for a test that how i ended my suffering life of Hiv patent,I'm cured and free of Arv Pills.I'm forever grateful to him Doctor Itua Herbal Treatment..He assured me he can cure the following disease..Hiv,Cancer,Herpes Virus,Hpv,Pile,Weak Erection,Lyme Disease,Epilepsy,Glaucoma.,Brain Tumor, psoriasis, Cataracts,Macular degeneration,Cardiovascular disease,Chronic Diarrhea,Lung disease.Enlarged prostate,Osteoporosis.Alzheimer's disease
