Such a tragic event, Michael. I am horrified and saddened and mourn for those lost and injured. I remember when you did this painting and it is fitting to see it in the wake of this new tragedy. My heart aches.

Firefighters are amazing men. Your painting honors their fearlessness, their bravery, their skills, their lives--sadly too, their memory. My heart goes out to their families. My thanks go to every one of them who stand and protect.
