"Adeus MFA!"

MFA Boston, MA, USA

Class ended this week.
Take another in the fall.

Love Boston and the MFA.

No motivation to finish calm seascape
on left.  Started a wilder seascape on right.
Much fun working on two paintings at the same time.

  1. Michael, it is great to have my computer again and be able to visit blogs. My trip was great but it is good to be home. I love the paintings! I imagine that you will miss having your class, but I'm glad you plan to resume in the fall. The painted stools are really interesting to see!

  3. It is great fun working on a couple of paintings at the same time. Cuts down too much thinking. Sounds like you are taking a summer vacation from painting now that the class ended? I've been thinking of doing the same--in fact, I think I'm doing just that. Gardening has my attention. --The Pollack paintings are beautiful. It's nice the MFA let's visitors photograph the works--or did you just luck out that there was no one to stop you? Have a great summer friend. Enjoy whatever you do in these precious fine weather months.

    1. Hi Linda!
You are right it is great fun painting more than one work at a time! No thinking at all!
Gardening certainly is a form of art! Post photos soon!
Vistiors at the MFA are allowed to photograph as long as flashes aren't used! So nice!
You also enjoy the summer my dear art buddy!
      Garden on !

  4. Ciao Michael,
    Ciao, ciao, abbracci, Floriana

  5. I fear you will experience separation anxiety now that your classes are over - I always do! I have only 1 more life session and then a long break. I hope you find time to paint this summer - I intend to paint up a storm!

    1. You are so right Susan! I started missing Boston and my classes as soon as I got on the train to come home! Savor your last life session class! Because of you I am thinking of taking a life drawing and painting class in the fall! I will certainly paint this summer! Every day!
I took your last sentence quite literally! When you wrote, "I intend to paint up a storm!" Now I am expecting and so very much looking forward to a "storm painting" by you posted on your wonderful blog! No pressure my friend!
Enjoy every second on the planet my art buddy!
      Art on!
