"Night Ocean?" Never sure how to title my work! Usually give it a name when I feel it is finished! Also never sure when to stop! This piece was so much fun to do. I kept turning canvas around while painting. I am happy I kept it vertical. I am thinking of putting my signature on the side? I hope you like it!

"Wow!" is how I felt when I completed this one. Still very difficult to stop. Especially when I am not sure where I am going. I get so many ideas while I am painting! |
Second "stage" of "Night Ocean"
Not really the second stage! This is just where I decided to record this pieces progress. I am sure there were many "stages" along the way!
|
This is how "Night Ocean" started. Of course then I didn't have a title. As always I start with an idea but I keep that idea vague. In this case, in the beginning I was thinking, I would use some brighter and lighter colors for a seascape. That is vague enough! As I worked on this piece darker colors just seemed to appear. What a difference from the finished product! |
So much energy! So much mood! The colors are wonderful.
