Thank you for visiting Wendy! Happy New Year to you and yours! I love your blog and your art! If Australia is "Down Under?" Is North America "Up Over?" Paint on! Michael
Happy New Year!!! Those turkeys are quite a site!!! I had never really seen wild turkeys and my sister's friend in CA kept telling us that they fly. We went over to her house and the turkeys there lined up like planes on a runway and one at a time started running and flew up into a tree for the night. It was so funny! Enjoy!!!
Happy New Year to you too Joan! When the turkeys visit it is so much fun. I love their faces. I was going to paint from these photos but I thought I could never capture these moments! I am smiling as I picture the turkeys you saw taking off! It is so good to laugh! Keep painting! Michael
Hi Celeste! Glad you got a chance to check out my turkey friends! They certainly bring my backyard bird watching up to another level! Happy New Year my art buddy! Michael
Hello Michael! I loved seeing your MFA work - and now meeting these superior birds. . . I was not expecting turkeys, never mind turkeys who can talk and read - it really is an exotically fantastic land you are living in over there. . .
Hello My Dear Art Buddy Lisa! Sorry so late in responding! Some storm! Turkeys are so very smart! Now I see why Ben Franklin wanted them to be our national bird! They visit so often. With all the deep snow lately they had to work so hard to get around! Beautiful colors in the sunlight with snow background! Keep us posted on your wood burning stove! Great idea! Michael
