"Something Different" Roof Slate 11"x14" Acrylic

"Irish Cottage"
Like many people in New England we hang a "Welcome" slate painting outside our front door.
I painted this on a roof slate that came from an old building in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
This gaelic greeting means "A Thousand Welcomes."
I often paint slate paintings and sell them at local craft shows.  So, welcome to all  and  have a very happy Fall!
Michael

  1. Ciao Michael,
che bella idea! Sembra una casetta da fiaba, forse quella dei 7 nani dove si può abitare in tanti e in armonia...anche i colori invitano a godere di ciò che ci circonda!
    Ciao, ciao, a presto, Floriana
p.s. always thank you for your kind words

  5. Susan,
    Good morning!
Thank you! Your comment made my day!
I am getting some slate paintings ready for a local fall show and I may include some with various cultural themes. Your message got me thinking of new ideas. Isn't that wonderful.
    Thank you.
