Something Different For Me, A Small Painting! Acrylic 5" x 7"

"I Love The Ocean"

It is very unusual that I paint on such a small scale, 5" x 7".
I could paint ocean waves forever.
The top photo is the first phase of this work.
The Bottom photo is the final stage?
Maybe?
I am constantly working on when, if ever, to stop.

The photo below is of the palette I chose for this work.  I thought I would limit it to just a few basic colors.

  3. Michael, love the smaller size!!!
Great colors too! I have seen so much of the beach all summer long, getting there every other day and taking hundreds of pictures. Just yesterday I got a bunch of pictures of the surf on a rainy day. You do a much better job depicting waves than I ever could. So beautiful! You need to stop by my facebook page and check out all the ocean pics I have up.. for inspiration! Look me up if ever you are on! Hugs!
