"East Boston Triple Decker" Acrylic Canvas 24" x 30"

If you look carefully you should see an old triple decker apartment building in the center of the canvas under all the "drips".   One of the last triple deckers still standing on Neptune Road in East Boston.  Many of the homes in that area were "taken" by eminent domain for expansion at Boston's Logan International Airport.  My next attempt will be a more representational work of the same subject.

  1. Michael,
This is one of your best works so far. I am not sure if many people appreciate much of your work but I certainly do. Keep doing what you love to do.

  2. Michael, I agree with Michael's comment ;)

This is effective because it is not representational, I feel through color and texture you've recreated the building without exacting the details, instead,I get a feeling of that institutional green or the texture of a surface used to create these buildings. There is absolutely a mood and atmosphere here.
