"Happy Independence Day" "Ned's Point Lighthouse" Acrylic Canvas 14" x 16"




"Ned's Point Lighthouse
July 4th?"




Ned's Point Lighthouse is located at beautiful Mattapoisett Harbor on the breathtaking south coast of Massachusetts, USA.   One summer, just before our Independence Day celebration, I started this painting.  Yesterday I decided  to finally finish it!  (Thank goodness I had a photo!)   It is a wonderful little lighthouse located in a fine park.  There is something about a lighthouse that makes me smile!

    Je suis attirée par les phares et leur atmosphère, tout comme les moulins!... Souvent lorsque j'en aperçois un, je dis que j'aimerais bien un jour pouvoir peindre dans un phare durant au moins une semaine, tranquillement !...
    Une très jolie peinture.

    Je vous souhaite une année 2013 très créative couronnée de succès.

    Une petite pensée pour vous en ce passage très prochain de l'année 2012 à 2013.
